RP's Pasta founder and owner Peter Robertson, while selling his authentic Italian fresh pasta at the Dane County Farmers Market in Madison WI, was approached by a long time customer and friend. She was upset and emotional because she had to stop eating wheat.
Peter, wishing everyone could eat fabulous fresh pasta, set to work to develop a recipe to equal or even surpass the quality of the great fresh pasta RP's was making. In 2008 there was a EUKEKA!! moment when it happened. RP's started making fresh gluten free/wheat free pasta that matched the quality of their traditional semolina pastas.
RP's gluten free pasta is made with brown rice flour, potato starch, and egg, as the three main ingredients, and has all the same quality and texture as any high quality fresh pasta.
Our gluten free pasta is also made in a dedicated wheat free area to insure proper safety.
Cooking in only 2 minutes, tasting great, and with a true a'dente texture, RP's gluten free pasta will allow you, your friends and family to enjoy gluten free pasta that actually tastes GOOD!!
